The Legacy behind
Help Your Heroes

Behind HYH stands a 4-generational armed forces legacy spanning 300+ years of combined service across lineages- from the pre-Independence era to the present day.

These experiences shaped our understanding of what veterans and their families often face long after active duty ends. They also shaped our belief that supporting those who have served is not simply an act of gratitude, but a shared responsibility.

“Help Your Heroes is not philanthropy alone. It is responsibility shaped by heritage”

Founder, Help Your Heroes

Our Foundation

Across four generations, members of the family have served in active duty- through global conflicts, national wars, and decades of peacetime service.

From soldiers who fought in the World War I and World War II, to decorated officers of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force, to those who continued serving despite life-altering injuries- the experience of service has been lived in its entirety.

Not just in moments of courage, but in the quieter, more demanding reality that follows.

Service, sacrifice, and resilience were not values observed from a distance.
They were part of everyday life.

The Inspiration

Over time, one truth became evident.

While the armed forces stand firmly behind their own, the journey beyond service- particularly for those dealing with long-term recovery, mobility challenges, or chronic conditions- often requires sustained, structured support that is not always accessible.

This gap is not one of intent.
It is one of continuity, resources, and long-term infrastructure

This understanding became personal during a period spent within a military hospital system.

What stood out was not a lack of care- but the contrast between exceptional medical commitment and the limitations in long-term support systems available beyond immediate treatment

It was here that the need for structured, sustained intervention became clear

“We honour the legacy of our forefathers who served with unwavering courage. Their sacrifice inspires our commitment to those who continue to serve and protect.”

The Role of HYH

Help Your Heroes was established to bridge this gap

Not to replace the system,
but to strengthen it.

HYH works to:

  • enable access to advanced prosthetic and rehabilitation support
  • strengthen infrastructure within military medical environments
  • support veterans and their families through long-term, structured programs

Every initiative is designed to be measurable, accountable, and sustained over time.

Help Your Heroes

Help Your Heroes is not philanthropy.
It is responsibility shaped by heritage.

It is commitment informed by lived experience, and executed through structured action.

At its core, Help Your Heroes is a continuation of a legacy.

A legacy of service that does not end with the uniform,
and a belief that those who have served the nation should never stand alone in what comes after.
